Via Flickr: This was, perhaps, the project on which I spent more time than any other when I was in high school. I always had a needle, attached to whatever color embroidery thread I was using for a border, stashed somewhere on my jeans, and I would work on them during class when I got bored. This was a project in 1975.
And yesterday, at the age of 53, thirty-seven years and a 60-pound weight loss later, I fit into my high-school jeans again:

I’m also wearing the “Negba Day” t-shirt I got when I was a volunteer on Kibbutz Negba back in 1976.  Another item I haven’t fit into in some time!
