Happy birthday to the ebullient Plastic Bertrand (24 February 1954- ), whose endlessly catchy 1977 single still makes me want to get up and jump around.
Endlessly covered but never improved, “Ça plane pour moi” burst into my musical consciousness and dug in like a chigger. I still have my 45 record of it.
