Happy birthday to Oomph Girl Ann Sheridan (21 February 1915–21 January 1967), a sultry redhead with a nice set of pipes, as you can see in this nifty number from Thank Your Lucky Stars (1943). And, boy, can she rock a peignoir.
I probably saw her first in Angels with Dirty Faces, but I love her best in Torrid Zone, which is basically “The Front Page” on a banana plantation, and more fun than you can believe.
And look how pretty!
